Welcome to the Wind in the Willows Annual Auction

The catalog will help you pre-select items of interest. Please take the time to look through it so you are aware of all of the great items available.

Don’t forget to bring the hard copy of the catalog the auction with you!

Many of the merchants have generously donated to the school: join us in thanking them and supporting their businesses. Most importantly, thanks to the families and friends, past and present, of Wind in the Willows for your support.

Auction Schedule:
7:00 PM Silent auction bidding and hors d’oeuvres and drinks
9:15 PM Dessert and raffle drawing
9:30 PM Live auction
10:15 PM Checkout

Bidding Rules and General Information
1. All items (except live auction items) are posted on bid sheets, which will be displayed at the auction.
2. To bid, write in your bid number (located on the back of your catalog) and the amount
of your bid on the first available line. Please write legibly.
3. Specified minimum bids and bid increments must be observed.
4. Hint: keep checking on the items you really want!
5. No bidding may take place after the silent bidding ends at 9:15 PM.
6. Payment must be made by cash or check payable to Wind in the Willows.
Sorry no credit cards.
7. Payment collection will begin at approximately 10:15 PM (at the conclusion of the Live
Auction). Winning items will be issued upon payment. If you need to leave early, you
may pick up your winnings and pay for them at school the following Monday.
8. All sales are final. Articles are sold "as is". Any values quoted are estimated retail
values only and are not guaranteed by WITW for tax purposes or for general value.

Absentee Bids.
Absentee bids for Special Parties, Live and Silent auction items may be made in
advance. Bids will be accepted in writing or online. Please submit your absentee bid by entering the desired item number, item description, and the bid amount that you are willing to pay, no later than 4:00 pm on Thursday, March 4, 2010.

Successful bidders will be notified by telephone.

1st Prize – Wii Console and Three Wii Games: Wii Sports Game, My Sims Racing for Wii and My Sims Party for Wii. $250 value
2nd Prize – Tiffany Crystal Georgetown Bowl and $50 Rainbow Grocery Script. $165 value
3rd Prize – Mumm Napa 2000 DVX Sparkling Wine. $50 value

Addition Raffle tickets are still available and will be sold at the auction at the Grab and Go
table.
